NBE or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS), the exam conducting body, releases NEET MDS merit list for 50 per cent All India Quota seats. Candidates included in the merit list are eligible to participate in the NEET MDS counselling process. Although the NEET MDS merit list mentions the complete list of candidates who appeared for the exam along with their score and status (in case of absentee or cancelled candidature), the students have to verify their scores and crosscheck with the cutoffs to ensure whether they have qualified for NEET MDS or not.

Both the documents are prepared by NBEMS, the exam conducting body. The NEET MDS scorecard is issued only to candidates who can download it by logging in through their registration credentials and nobody else can access it. No, NEET MDS result is different from the scorecard. The NEET MDS result is declared in the form of a merit list as a PDF file with the marks and ranks of all candidates. On the other hand, the scorecard contains detailed information about the individual candidates and their performances. The NEET MDS result is also referred to as merit list, where candidates can check their overall score along with the All India Rank. On the other hand, the NEET MDS scorecard gives candidates their individual scores along with qualifying status.

NEET MDS is conducted in only one language, which is English. This exam, conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) is held in a single language and window, in a computer-based test (CBT) mode.  Since BDS course is offered in English, it would not pose challenge to candidates in terms of attempting the NEET MDS exam in English. The exam will be conducted for a duration of three hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM in exam centres located in India. The syllabus and pattern and expected to remain the same as last year.
