The NEET MDS application fee varies according to the candidate categories. It is expected that the NEET MDS 2026 fee amount will remain the same as last year. The NEET MDS application fee for the General and OBC category candidates is INR 3,500. For the reserved category candidates, such as the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Persons with Disability (PWD), the application fee is INR 2,500. While uploading photograph and signature at the NEET MDS application form, candidates will have to keep in mind the following factors. 

  • The photographs should be coloured and black and white photographs will not be accepted
  • Candidate's face, eyes and ears must be clearly visible
  • The photograph must be clicked against a white background
  • Candidates should not be wearing caps or sunglasses in the photograph and there should not be reflection of light on the glasses, which are worn by candidates regularly
  • Candidate's name and date of the photograph at the bottom
  • Signatures should be done in blue or black ballpoint pen against a white backgr

Candidates should ensure that they use a the latest or updated browser for filling the NEET MDS application form. Some of the accepted web browsers and their versions are as follows:

  • Internet Explorer (version 11 and above) or
  •  Mozilla Firefox (version 61 or above) or
  •  Google Chrome (version 70 or above) 

Candidates must ensure that the browsers are properly running at a high-speed and the cookies are deleted. The internet connection should also be stable so avoid any hiccups.

No, NEET MDS application form can be filled in an online mode only. Candidates have to visit the NBE website and click on the NEET MDS section and complete the registration and application procedure by filling in the mandatory details, uploading the documents such as certificates, photograph and signature, and paying the requisite application fee in an online mode. Even if a candidate plans to send the hardcopy of the filled up NEET MDS application form by post, it will not be accepted making the candidate ineligible to appear for the exam.

    • A candidate for admission to the MDS course must have a recognised degree of BDS awarded by an Indian University in respect of recognised Dental College under section 10 (2) of the Dentists Act, 1948 or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Dental Council of India and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Dental Council. The minimum aggregate for admission to Bapuji Dental College and Hospital in Davanagere is 50%. However, there is a 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates. 

To be eligible for the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program, candidates must have: 

A BDS degree with a minimum of 50% from an accredited institution

Passed the NEET PG for MS exam

The NEET qualifying cutoff score for the general category in 2023 was 263, while SC/ST/OBC was 2

NEET MDS application process is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website of NEET MDS or the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and after that, they will have to visit the NEET MDS section and follow the steps given below.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) released the complete notification or information bulletin for NEET MDS 2025. There is no specific change in this year's NEET MDS. The number of exam cities has increased from 56 to 59. Apart from that, the change in NEET MDS 2025 is in terms of the exam date, which was originally on January 31, but has now been postponed to April 19, 2025.  The NEET MDS 2025 exam structure has been revised. The two sections will be time-bound for 75 minutes with 100 questions and 105 minutes with 140 questions.
