Tamil Nadu Government Dental College accepts NEET MDS entrance exam scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the MDS courses. As per the Round 1 of the GDC Chennai cutoff 2024, the closing rank for MDS courses ranged between 37 and 330, wherein Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics was the most competitive MDS course for the General AI category students. Institute of Medical Science BHU NEET MDS was released for Round 1. The IMS BHU Cutoff was released for various MDS courses. The Cutoff was released for different categories under the AI and the HS Quota. MDS in Prosthodontics was a highly competitive course, with the Cutoff rank of 24 for the General AI category candidates. Moreover, during the IMS BHU MDS 2023 Cutoff, the Cutoff rank for Prosthodontics was closed at 11, for Round 1, for the General AI category candidates. This shows that the competition has declined in the same course. 

Maulana Azad Institute of Dental Sciences accepts NEET MDS entrance exam scores, followed by a counselling process for admission to the MDS courses. As per the Round 1 of the MAMC cutoff 2024, the closing rank for MDS in Prosthodontics was 2 for the General AI category students. The most competitive MDS course was Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedies with a clsoing rank of 1.

Direct admission to the MDS programme at Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital is not available. Admission to the MDS programme is based on the NEET MDS entrance exam, and candidates need to appear and qualify for this exam to be eligible for admission. 

Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process, it is mandatory to qualify for the NEET PG or NEET MDS entrance exams. Apart from that, candidates must fulfill other eligibility criteria stated by the counselling authorities of Maharashtra NEET PG, which is the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra in terms of the internship cutoff date, state domicile, etc.
