The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the NEET 2024 results, and 17 students have scored a perfect 720 out of 720, bagging All India Rank (AIR) 1. Among them are 13 boys and 4 girls from different states. Mridul Manya Anand from Delhi, Ayush Naugraiya from Uttar Pradesh, and Prachita from Rajasthan are some of the top performers. The exhaustive list of these toppers, together with their score and state, can be found on the NTA official website. For complete details about the AIRs and scores of all candidates, it would be advisable to refer to the official NEET 2024 merit list issued by the NTA.

With 250 marks in NEET 2024 in the OBC category, getting a BVSc (Bachelor of Veterinary Science) seat in a government veterinary college is tough since cutoffs for government seats are generally higher. But you might have an opportunity in private veterinary colleges or through the state quota in those states where cutoffs are low.

With 596 marks in NEET 2024 and being a Karnataka candidate, you stand a good chance of getting an MBBS seat in a government medical college under state quota counseling (KEA). In past years, government colleges in Karnataka used to have cutoffs between 560–580 marks for the General category.

Having a NEET score of 136, obtaining a BDS seat at the A.J. Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, is difficult. In the 2024 Karnataka NEET counseling, the General Merit (GM) category closing rank was 146,036. Considering that a NEET score of 136 usually translates to a rank higher than this cut-off, admission in the GM category is improbable.

With a score of 291 in the General category in the NEET 2024, getting a seat for MBBS in M.S. Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore, is not possible. The cutoff marks for the General category have been much higher in earlier years.

With 174 marks in NEET 2024, you can hope to get a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) seat in private Ayurvedic colleges, particularly under management or NRI quota. Government Ayurvedic colleges generally have higher cutoffs, even for the reserved categories.

Having scored 241 marks in NEET 2024 in the SC category, you stand a good chance of being allotted a seat in some government or private Ayurvedic college through state counseling. Government colleges have generally higher cutoffs, but you could be allotted a seat in those states where the SC cutoff is lower.

With 230 marks in NEET 2024, it's not possible to get an MBBS seat in a government college, even under SC/ST, since cutoffs are typically high. But you can have a possibility in private medical colleges, deemed universities, or under management/NRI quota seats.

A few private institutes in states such as Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh have reduced cutoffs for MBBS in reserved categories. You can also consider BDS (Dental), BAMS (Ayurveda), BHMS (Homeopathy), or BUMS (Unani) courses, whose cutoffs could be less.

Take part in state counseling, mop-up rounds, and stray vacancy rounds for increased chances.

No, qualification in NEET is not a requirement for Uka Tarsadia University B.Sc. Biotechnology program admissions. The conditions for eligibility stipulate that candidates should have completed their 12th standard in Science with Group A (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics), Group B (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), or Group AB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology). Admissions will be on a merit basis based on the qualifying examination, and there is no reference to scores of NEET being taken into consideration for the program.

Admission into the B.Pharm course of Goa College of Pharmacy demands candidates to have studied 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects and Mathematics or Biology, obtaining at least 50% aggregate marks. The candidates also need to appear for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET), since the college is considering GCET marks for admission, not NEET marks. Hence, your NEET score of 60 cannot be used for this course. In order to join B.Pharm in this college, you must prepare and apply for the next GCET.
