Well, that depends on the course and University that you are looking for. In order to get a clearer idea about the admission, I would request you to first fix a course and then search for universities that offer that course. In this way you can find out the eligibility criteria with respect to that University. All the best.

You want to go for your undergraduate studies in civil engineering abroad. Right? UK and New Zealand both are English speaking countries and Indian students have a great advantage in these two countries since they know English quite well. UK is a very big country and it has educational institutions which have hundreds of years of history. They are really good in Academics and Research both. Compared to this the institutions in New Zealand are comparatively new. But then, it's only newer Educational Institutes that can embrace the latest ideas and the latest trends in education. Hello Rakesh Nair,
Both the countries that you have chosen are English speaking countries and the colleges in those countries have English as the medium of instruction. This becomes very helpful for students from India to seek admission in these countries. When one is thinking for placements after studies, Canada being bigger country than New Zealand, correspondingly offers much more jobs than New Zealand. In view of this I would definitely advise you to aim for going to Canada for doing your undergraduate studies in civil engineering.
Best wishes to you.
