Academic qualification for B.Design program:
1. The candidates should have passed class 12th qualifying examination from a recognized state or national board of education.
2. The candidate must have passed from public university/ school/ board examination in India or foreign countries must be recognized under Association of Indian Universities as per 10+2 pattern of education.
3. A candidate must have studied a minimum of five main subjects under National Open School Examination.
4. Candidate holding Diploma under 10+3 or 10+4 pattern as recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) or State Board of Technical Education

A year course after B.Com in fashion designing will help only if you have been working in some related field for all these years. You can surely go for a Diploma or Master's which is generally for 15 months in different aspects of fashion sectors if you plan to.
