The cutoff for admission to NITs varies each year depending on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. However, based on previous years cutoffs, you may need a rank between 10000-15000 for admission to NIT CSE. As for the EWS category, there is no specific rank required for admission to NITs. However, candidates belonging to the EWS category are eligible for a 10% relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

To be eligible for admission to NITs or DTU, you need to have a minimum aggregate score of 75% (65% for SC/ST candidates) in your 12th standard board exams, along with a valid JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main score. However, if you have a compartment in any of the subjects, you may not be eligible for admission to NITs or DTU. I hope this helps.

Based on historical trends, a rank of 44,416 in the EWS category may be a bit on the higher side for securing admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs) or the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) through the JEE Main. The competition for NITs and IIITs is generally quite high, and candidates with lower ranks typically have a better chance of getting admission.

Congratulations on your rank! It is difficult to predict the exact branch and college you will get with your rank. However, according to the previous years cutoffs, you might have a chance of getting into National Institute of Technology (NIT), Tiruchirappalli. The cutoffs for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Information Technology (IT) branches vary every year depending on various factors such as the number of seats available, the number of applicants, etc. The cutoffs for CSE and IT branches in NITs are released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority JoSAA after each round of seat allocation. Admission criteria can vary from year to year and among different institutions. Moreover, the cutoffs for admission in the ST (Scheduled Tribe) and female categories can also differ based on the number of applicants and available seats. To determine your chances of getting a seat in an NIT (National Institute of Technology) or IIIT (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) with a 61% score in the female ST category, you would need to research the specific cutoffs and admission requirements for the colleges you are interested in.

Admissions to NITs are done on the basis of candidates performance in JEE Main entrance exam. The cutoff for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering varies every year and depends on various factors such as the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. In 2022, the cutoff for B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering at NITs was around 90 percentile. However, you can still apply to other colleges that accept JEE Main scores. There are other top colleges for 80-90 percentile in JEE Main 2023. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Both NIT Rourkela and PEC Chandigarh are reputed institutes for engineering. In terms of placements, both institutes have a good track record. NIT Rourkela is one of the premier technical institutes in India and has a strong placement record. The CSE department at NIT Rourkela attracts numerous renowned companies for placements. PEC Chandigarh is quite famous in North India and has excellent placements. The average package being offered is around 16.7 LPA and for CSE it was 25 LPA. The cutoff for NITs, IIITs and GFTIs varies every year and is based on various factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, etc. As per last years JEE Main cut off opening and closing ranks, a rank below 5000 is good to get B.E/ B.Tech admission to top NITs including NIT Trichy and NIT Rourkela. However, I could not find any information specific to Punjab state. You can check the details mentioned on this page. I would also recommend you to check with the college directly for more information on admission requirements and procedures. You can visit their official website.
