First of all if you are general then you are not eligible for IITs NITs or GFTIs as they need 75% marks minimum but if you are ST, SC then there is a chance if your JEE main marks is good.
then you get scholarship on your fee structure by IIT.

Hello Arijit,
Well for getting any NITs, you need to score very well in JEE mains, so any score more than 200 marks is considered safe for CSE in any top NITs.

You can get many branches. But go for the branch you have interest and you are passionate to do. It's not about the college.
At last what matters will be your knowledge and nothing else.
Thanks!

It's a rare chance. You have come closer to the closing rank. Last year, NIT Raipur closed CSE in 25,185 in the 6th round so there is a high possibility that you get NIT-Raipur for CSE because this year onwards, JoSAA conducts 7 rounds for filling seats.
So, be updated with this and I hope you will definitely get this college.

After the seat allotment in JoSAA counselling, the documents are verified only in that institution where you have been allotted the seat.
For example: If you have allotted a seat in NIT-Trichy for Mechanical branch then you have to go NIT-Trichy and accept the seat as well as verify your documents in that institution within the schedule unless wherever you live (like someone in Bhopal).
So be careful about that.

You can go for the state government colleges. You can get NITs in further counselling too. If you don't have any patience then go for DTU counselling, Thapar University or Jaypee.
