B.Sc. Nursing is a full time 3 year Degree course. There are various University in the state of Jammu and Kashmir which offers the course. For applying in the University you have to check the availability of seats on the University website.

Candidates who wish to apply for these courses need to have qualified for the GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course after attaining the 10+2 or equivalent qualification, preferably with Science subjects. Candidates not having done GNM are required to have a Certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months. Candidates should also be Registered Nurse/ Registered Midwives or equivalent with any of the State Nursing Registration Councils.

The two-year A.N.M. Training Programme offered by Naraina Nursing College is accredited by the Indian Nursing Council in New Delhi and is associated with the U.P. State Medical Faculty. 17-30 years should be the minimum to maximum eligibility criteria. Student should be medically fit with passed HSC through state central or any other equivalent boards. The fees structure at Nursing colleges is about2-4 lakh INR.

Yes, you can do both B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. At the same time. This is because, UGC has given its approval that one can go for pursuing two courses at the same time, the only condition is that one cannot pursue both these courses in regular mode I. e for both the courses to be legal, one course can be in regular mode and other course in distance mode from Open University or online. One can choose two different colleges for pursuing the two different degrees, that is one in regular mode and the other in open/ distance mode or one can pursue the two courses from the same institution or college provi
