Best option among all private colleges in Odisha. If you are ready to handle tight schedules, pressure, terrible lab grades and can deal with strong and merciless administration, you can join. I didn't have 60% in 12th, so couldn't attend placements, as criteria set by MNCs. So if you don't have that, it's totally useless to take up engineering in Nist or any other college under BPUT. If you consider studying MBA, then remember it provides zero placement. But if you are interested in research and internship opportunities, then I would say it's best in Odisha. Good infrastructure, hostel, labs, indoor stadium. Top professors and good faculty members. Edit : negligible placement opportunities in core sector. Almost nill in mechanical, civil and electrical engineering. But high packages offered from some top it firms like, SAP labs, Huwai and Myntra. 100% placement in computer Science is a myth, even 50% was not achieved during last 5 years.

Candidates can apply for RIE CEE 2018 exam in online mode as per the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Register on RIE CEE Website
Primarily, candidates need to register themselves on the official website of RIE CEE (www.ncert-cee.kar.nic.in or www.ncert-cee.gov.in) by clicking on the Registration Form link available on the website and thereby entering details such as a valid email ID and mobile number. After successful registration, candidates will be sent one-time password/ user credentials on their registered mobile numbers. Thereafter, candidates can move to the next step of RIE CEE 2018 application process. Step 2: Fill RIE CEE Application Form
Next, candidates need to login to their accounts using their user credentials (name/ email ID and password) and start filling the application form. It may be noted that on logging in, a registration number will be displayed on the screen that candidates need to note for future reference. After all details are filled, candidates need to click on the Save & Next button, which will take them to the confirmation page. KIIT is a renowned college in the whole of Eastern India. Its ranking has been also very good. But I would say that it's the student that actually makes a college. I took Civil engineering in KIIT (in the counselling) but didn't take the admission due to some personal reasons.
Cons of KIIT for me is the number of students intake in each branch (which is almost above 450 and 650+ in CSE and IT). To get placed within those 650 students will take a lot of hard work. A 15-20K job is not what you wish after spending 8.8 lakhs of tuition fees. It is not feasible at all. But if you work hard it's obvious that success will be waiting in any path that you follow. Other than these 2 cons I found that KIIT is very good as you will enjoy your college life a lot. I have pretty much more than 15 friends admitted to it and they enjoy it a lot.
