Remote sensing is used in 2 fields i.e. defense and space science. You can directly serve in Indian army or you can go for ISRO as a junior scientist. You can go abroad for Ph.D and continue research work in the field of space science.

The procedure is different for different university. Most of the processing is online.
Some universities are taking admission by conducting admission test and some of them take admission by counseling process .
The counseling process should depend on your percentage of math in B.Sc.
