There are many institutions offering Paramedical courses but not all of them offer Later Entry admissions in Paramedical Courses. Through Lateral Entry admissions, the standard duration of undergraduate or PG level paramedical courses is reduced for students by a year. MLT (Medical Lab Technology), Bachelor of Ophthalmic Techniques, Bachelor of Radiation Technology/ Radiotherapy, B.Sc. In Paramedical and Health Sciences, etc. The admission process for Paramedical Lateral Entry 2023 varies from institution to institution. For instance, in Rajasthan, the centralised admissions for Paramedical courses (Lateral Entry) are conducted by Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. For this, candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in previously acquired education.
