* Eligibility needed for Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) is 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised University or Board. Duration of the course is 2 years. There are also other certificate courses in lab technicians which needs 10+2 as the eligibility. * The minimum requirement for lab technicians is an associate's degree that takes two years to complete at technical schools or community colleges. Medical professionals who already have at least an associate's degree in their fields, such as nurses, may obtain the necessary skills through a one-year certificate program.
