Candidates must pass XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT followed by a GDPI round for admission to the PGDM course. The institute also considers the academic performance and co-curricular activities of the aspirants. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The PGDM course at XISS Ranchi offers four specializations: Human Resource Management, Rural Management, Financial Management, and Marketing Management. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the course. Candidates should complete graduation with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for ISBR Bangalore admission. Apart from academic requirements, aspirants also need to qualify one of the accepted entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, etc. Only after fulfiling the eligibility requirements, candidates will be able to fill out the application form. The mode of application is online.

For admission to PGDM (Tourism Management), candidates must have passed bachelor's degree in any stream. Also, those who have passed bachelor’s degree in Tourism & Hospitality with 50% aggregate, can also apply.
