Yes, the PhD admissions at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication are open for the academic year 2026. The first session of Jindal School of Journalism and Communication PhD admission is open. The exact deadline for applications is yet to be revealed however, the admissions are scheduled to close near the end of January for the first session.

Candidates can appear for all the accepted entrance exams to qualify during the second session of admissions for Jindal School of Journalism and Communication admissions.

However, the GMAT exam is highly recommended for candidates who have missed the registration window for the other accepted exams. The GMAT exam can be scheduled in any month before the second cycle and the results will be made available near the exam date.

No, candidates who wish to apply for Jindal School of Journalism and Communication PhD admissions do not require candidates to have prior work experience. However, candidates who can prove three years of work experience in the relevant fields will be given preference during Jindal School of Journalism and Communication admissions.

The duration of Part-time Jindal School of Journalism and Communication PhD courses is six years. This is double the duration of the full-time PhD course offered by Jindal School of Journalism and Communication which is three years. 

However, part-time PhD course allows candidates to continue their employment alongside their coursework. The selection and eligibility criteria for the PhD courses remains the same for both course modes.
