Merit-based Admission In India, some colleges offer Direct Admissions, in which students are admitted based on how well they did in their B. S. in Nursing or an equivalent exam from a recognised board. Entrance Exam based M.Sc Nursing Admission is based on an entrance exam. The institute or university conducts entrance exams like the AIIMS PG Exam, the MET and the DSAT among others. Other rounds like the GD and PI rounds, if any, follow. Based on their overall scores, candidates are placed in a shortlist for the Counseling round.

1. How do I apply :-
Interested candidates need to separately apply for Ph.D. in the Interdisciplinary Research in Humanities, Sciences, Engineering and Design Domain. In this domain research proposal along with the proposed faculty members will be available in the advertisement.
2. What is the process of selection
Each proposal will have a separate committee to decide the shortlisting criteria and mode of selection. There will be a four-member committee comprises of two proposed faculty members and one nominee of both the HoD . This committee will submit shortlisting and selection criteria to the academic section for approval.

For Patna University Ph.D. admission you have to fill the admissions form or entrance form online through Patna university website. Eligibility Criteria -
Candidates having Master's Degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 7-Point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed). A Relaxation of 5% marks from 55% to 50% or an equivalent relaxation of grade will be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/EBC/BC/Differently able categories of candidates.
