Hi Nitesh,
Please remember the eligibility criteria for Ph.D varies for every institute. However the basic requirement is a masters degree or an equivalent degree in the relevant discipline.
However the cut off percentages vary. Some of the institutes conduct entrance exams and some of them require atleast two research publications for the Ph.D programs. Some also require work experience of a couple of years.
So as per your query I would suggest you to:
1. Shortlist the universities where you wish to apply.
2. Once shortlisted you may then contact the admission department of these universities to know the exact eligibility criteria for ad

Hi,To becoming a lecturer it is not necessary to having PHD degree. You just need to have minimum 55%marks at your post graduation degree than you can appear for UGC NET exam. If you could able to clear this exam there after you can apply for the post of lecturer at any colleges. hope i could help you
