No government colleges in Pune offer Pharm D. However, consider these options:
- *Government College of Pharmacy, Aurangabad*: Pharm D, B.Pharm, M.Pharm
- *Government College of Pharmacy, Amravati*: B.Pharm, M.Pharm
Private colleges in Pune offering Pharm D:
- *Poona College of Pharmacy*: 10.50 lakhs
- *Dr. D Y Patil Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research*: 7.50 lakhs
- *Dr. DY Patil College of Pharmacy*: 4.26 lakhs

The latest cutoff information for Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)at JSS college of Pharmacy is given as following which are depends upon the category .
1 For General Category _ For the general category the candidate should get the score between 65%to 75% in class 12th in the subject physics, chemistry (mathematics or biology)
2 For the Obc category _ cutoff between105- 120
3 For Sc category _ cutoff lies between 90 - 100
4 For St category _ cutoff lies between 75to 80

There are few government colleges in Telangana which do Pharm.D. There are lots of private institutions offering this course but some of the notable government institutions offering the course include the University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUH), Hyderabad and Kakatiya University, Warangal. NIPER Hyderabad also provides doctoral degree in pharmacy degrees but is more research oriented and higher specializations.

Serveral colleges in Maharashtra offer Pharma D and B Pharma degree through the MHT CET Exam some prominent institution include Dr DY Patil College of Pharmacy AISSMS college of pharmacy and Bombay College of Pharmacy this colleges along with other conduct admission based on MHT CET score for both undergraduate and post graduate pharmacy program

The names of the entrance exams for the Poona College of Pharmacy PharmD course are BV PHARMUG and BV PHARMPG. The college offers two courses in Doctor of Pharmacy, which are three-year and six-year. Candidates can pursue a six-year PharmD course after completion of Class 12 and a three-year BPharm course. The names of the accepted entrance exams are given below for both courses:

The requirements for admission to the PharmD course at Poona College of Pharmacy are that candidates must have secured a valid score in the BVP CET entrance exam. Additionally, there are no guidelines available on the official website of the college/ university that claims that Poona College of Pharmacy offers direct admission to the PharmD course. However, the college does have management quota seats for the PharmD course, and to get that seat, candidates must contact the college's authorised department.

The total tuition fee for the PharmD course at Poona College of Pharmacy is INR 10.5 lakh. Additionally, the tuition fee for the same course at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences ranges from INR 6.2 Lacs to INR 15.8 lakh. Hence, the tuition fee for PharmD at Poona College of Pharmacy is more affordable than that of Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Science. However, apart from the fee structure, identify the goals on which they are comparing the colleges. Further, compare the colleges based on different factors, such as placement packages, ROI, recruiters, alumni feedback, reviews, etc.

For applying to EBC (Economically Backwards Class) scholarships, PharmD candidates are required to complete certain eligibility criteria. The eligibility requirement to get this scholarship is that candidates' annual family earnings should be below INR 1 lakh. It can be availed of only after Class 12 to get 50% off in college tuition fees.
