It is a professional doctorate degree in pharmacy. In some countries, it is a first professional degree, and a prerequisite for licensing to exercise the profession of Pharmacist. It is a 6 years (5 years academic program + 1 year internship) long course.Science stream students (any group- Mathematics or Biology), who have passed 10+2 board examination from a recognized board OR Diploma in Pharmacy holders (from a PCI recognized institute) are eligible to pursue this course.

The college campus is vast and the college is located prominently on the main road. C.L Baid Mehta college of pharmacy has educational program such as D. Pharmacy, B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. Post declaration of results, DTE Maharashtra releases merit list on the basis of MHT CET cutoff. Marks equal to or more than the prescribed cut-off should be scored for admission to the concerned branch.
