It is not possible to change college after completion of your 2nd year. You need to complete your course. It is not allowed to change college and you can't even change section in the same college.

You need pass marks in all the subjects and you need to clear the TNEA exam, as the selection of the candidate is based on the clearance of the exam and availability of seats.

Academic excellence is not a prerequisite to clearing the SSB. Prepare well and clear the backlog with good scores. Accept responsibility for your performance and show them you learned from your mistakes and did better when you took those exams again. Don't think too much about it, the SSB is not an academic selection test. You'll is fine.
