It depends on your interest and hard work. Both the courses are good but I think that finance is better in comparison to economics.
In addition to various UG courses, Loyola College, Chennai also offers various PG level programes to the interested candidates. MA, M.Sc and M.Voc programmes are offered in more than one specialization. While the rest of programmes such as M.Com and MCA are offered in one specialization by the college. The duration of each of the courses is two years other than the MCA programme which is of three years' of duration.
Minimum eligibility for PG courses is that the candidate must pass Bachelors degree in a relevant specialization. Selection to all the courses is done on the basis of entrance test followed by interview conducted by the college.

B.Sc is a 3-year UG course, and to get admission in this course, you need to complete class 12th in science Stream. To get admission in B.Sc, you have to score at least 50% in your intermediate examination. The eligibility criteria vary from college to college, but if you have scored a minimum of 50% in your 12th science stream, then you are eligible to get admission in B.Sc. You will get direct admission in B.Sc in various colleges. But if you want to get admission in top colleges, then for this, you have to appear for the entrance examination and after clearing the entrance examination, you will get admission in B.Sc. Admission in this course is also based on the merit (according to your 12th percentage). So, if you have scored good marks in class 12th, then you will easily get admission in B.Sc. So, to get admission in B.Sc in DU, for this, you have to score a minimum of 55% marks in PCM. So, the eligibility criteria varies from college to college.
