Hello Gouri, Medical physicists use a variety of analytical, computer-aided and bioengineering techniques in their work such as radiotherapy, x-ray imaging, ultrasound, tomography, radiology, nuclear magnetic resonance imaging and lasers. They work with patients and with a wide range of medical, technical and administrative staff.
The average pay for a Medical Physicist is $128,445 per year. Pay for this job rises steadily for more experienced workers, but goes down noticeably for employees with more than 20 years' experience. A skill in Radiology is associated with high pay for this job.
Good luck.
Thank you.
