(Q? - Q? )/Q? = (T? - T? )/T? ; Q = (300/600) * 1600 = 800 J
work done = Q? - Q? = 1600 – 800 = 800J

W A B = n R T l n 2 V 1 V 1 = n R T l n 2 .

W B C = P 2 ( V 1 2 V 1 ) = P 2 V 1 = 1 2 n R T

[At B, 2P2 V1 = nRT]

W C A = 0   [CA is isochoric process].

W A B C A = W A B + W B C + W C A = n R T ( l n ( 2 ) 1 2 )

U = aP?
PV/ (γ-1) = aP?
P? ³V = a (γ - 1)
PV? ¹? ³ = constant
Comparing with PV? = constant
x = -?
C = R/ (γ-1) + R/ (1-x) = R/ (5/3 - 1) + R/ (1 +? ) = 3R/2 + 3R/4
C = 9R/4

According to Newton's law of cooling
(T? -T? )/t = K [ (T? +T? )/2 - T? ]
For 1? cup of coffee,
(90-80)/t = K [ (90+80)/2 - 20]
For 2? cup of coffee,
(80-60)/t' = K [ (80+60)/2 - 20]
Divide (1) by (2)
t'/t = 65/50 ⇒ t' = (13/5)t

η = 1 - T sin   k T source   = 0.5

T sin   T source   = 0.5 T sin   = 1 2 * ( 273 + 327 ) = 1 2 * 600 = 300 K = 27 ? C
