Yes, you can become a pilot even if you are from the commerce stream. You can clear the 12th class mathematics and physics from NIOS board. Although the pilot course might be expensive for the commerce background students as they first need to clear physics and mathematics and then pursue the course.

Getting commercial pilot's licence is quite tough, at least in India. After having obtained commercial pilot license, invariably everybody gets placed in one or the other civil Airlines in India. For the past many years, passenger as well as cargo traffic is increasing at the rate of 15% per year and is expected to show the same growth in years to come.
