That is on your choice. Both of them are very different from each other. B.Tech. Is a graduation degree course whereas CPL is a professional Training. If you have a passion to fly and than go for CPL otherwise do Engineering and work for some MNC sitting in front of a computer. ;). .

Joining flying school for CPL is always better. They have all the facilities including the ground classes for trainee pilots. The Instructors are DGCA approved and experienced in their subjects, so the quality of training is better.

Flying Schools takes admission for CPL Entrants on direct admission basis. You can approach them directly and ask for admission procedures and they shall guide you for the same. You need to have passed class 12 with 50% marks in PCM for joining CPL Training, that is the minimum requirement. IGRUA and NFTI conduct their entrance exam for CPL Entrants.

There are many calculations required to be done before each flight. The tabulation of the correct Aircraft weight depending on it's loading. It should satisfy the runway length, day's temperature, airport pressure and maximum allowable takeoff weight for the aircraft. The computers in the aircraft are equipped to do all these calculations but the pilots are taught all these calculations manually. So that in case of any emergency manual calculations can be done. I hope you understand that maths is required for all such calculations.

For becoming a pilot, no graduation is required. You just have to be class 12th pass with PCM. The minimum marks required in PCM is 50% for pursuing CPL. You may do Graduation on your own wish, although it will not be counted anywhere for CPL Training. It will only be an additional qualification on your CV.

There is no such Specific criteria. The average monthly flying that an Indian pilot does each month is 60-80 hours. You can now yourself calculate the total number of hours that one can fly each year. It is irrespective of which year of service you do.

There is no such limitation. Those pilots who are hired on Wide body fleet like Boeing 777/787 and Airbus 350/380 fly the international route from the very first day onwards. Others who fly narrow body fleet like Airbus 320 or Boeing 737 are on the domestic sectors usually. Some small international sectors like Dubai, Singapore, Moscow etc. are also covered by narrow body fleet.

There is no such limitations on the number of seats like B.E. Or MBBS. Any number of people can become pilot each year. On an average 700-900 CPL licenses are issued each year nowadays by DGCA. So these many number of new pilots are added prepared each year in India. This count is inclusive of those licenses also which are issued outside India and later converted in India license.

It depends on the vacancy. There's no such calendar or time table as per which vacancies shall be announced by airlines. It is solely dependent on their requirements and necessity. So you might get a job immediately after the type rating or you may have to wait for any amount of duration depending on the Airlines requirements. I've known people who've got job the very next month after type rating and some others who've kept waiting for 3years and got their TRs expired. Your hiring also highly depends on your regency and technical knowledge about the aircraft. If you are good at that you may expect a job within 6 months after TR. Airlin
