There is no provision for direct admission in the Polytechnic at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), Agra. Dayalbagh Educational Institute Diploma in engineering courses admission is entirely merit based. Candidates will be selected based on their academic performance in the qualifying examination.
Selected candidates can further apply for the counselling process, which involves filling out branch preferences, document verification and fee payment.

For admission to the polytechnic, i.e. after 10th Diploma programme offered at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), the candidate must fulfil the following requirements:

The application process for admission in the Polytechnic or Diploma in engineering programme at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI) generally concludes in April. Candidates willing to be admitted to the Diploma in engineering course at DEI must have passed class 10 or class 12 with a minimum of 55% aggregate.
DEI Polytechnic admissions are merit-based. Candidates having good academic records have higher chances of getting a good domain during the counselling round, followed by document verification and fee payment.

If you are serious about getting admission to a Polytechnic college for CSE, I recommend that you apply to a variety of colleges. This will give you a better chance of getting admission. You should also start preparing for the state-level Polytechnic entrance exam as soon as possible. The state-level Polytechnic entrance exam is a separate entrance exam that is conducted by each state for admission to Polytechnic colleges in that state.

After completing ITI in elctrician trade, based on your interest you can opt for many polytechninc courses or brances and as you already completed your ITI you can directly join in second year Electrical engineering in Diploma/Polytechninc. The only requirement to join in second year of Diploma you must have the minimum marks in ITI.
Not only Electrical engineering you can also opt for Electronics Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy etc.
