Kongu College of engineering at Erode in Tamilnadu admits students based on the guidelines given by the state of Tamil Nadu. In this state, there is no entrance exam and admissions are based on marks obtained in 12th standard. The minimum eligibility criteria for the asked course in 10+2. There is no information available on the college website regarding lateral admissions in the asked course. Hence, it is better to asked for college directly regarding this.

The fee details are not available on asked College website. However, on the basis of information gathered from other sources, the course fee is about Rs 21,000 per year. While the hostel fee is about Rs 56,000 per year.

It is very nice to see that you are interested in going to the education field. Normally speaking, the eligibility criteria for this entrance exam conducted by NCERT is 12th. Now many states have declared Diploma as equivalent to 12th. So please check with the institution from where you did Diploma and obtain this equivalence cert. Once you have this then you can appear for any exam where eligibility is 12th. Best wishes to you.
