PGIMER Chandigarh BSc counselling rounds generally begin around the month of July. The college holds personal counselling, which means that eligible candidates have to physically report at the institute. Four rounds of counselling are held, in which the fourth round is the’ Open’ or ‘Spot’ round.

Note: Candidates absent during the counselling process will not be considered for the admission.

Admissions to PGI Chandigarh courses are made on applicants’ merit in Class 12 and score in the entrance examination. Once the eligible applicants have given the entrance exam, the selection process begins. The college prepares a rank list of the students based on their entrance examinations scores. PGI Chandigarh then allocate seats via personal counselling. In personal counselling, the candidates who meet the cut off are called to the institute.

PGI Chandigarh generally makes its application portal open for various BSc courses in the month of May. The college only accepts online applications and no request for offline applications are entertained. Also it is compulsory to apply via college's website. Steps to apply are as follows -

3. Complete all the required details

4. Take a printout of the form for future purposes and make the application fee payment

PGIMER Chandigarh have laid out clear eligibility criteria for BSc in Nursing candidates. Along with the basic eligibility criteria (Only female candidate plus Class 12 with (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English), the candidates should note that the age should be between 17-25 years.

PGI Chandigarh offers eight different BSc courses. Fees for each of the course may vary and is around INR 1,000, as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is, however, subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Four out of the eight PGI BSc courses comprises of a compulsory internship period in which the students are required to do an internship. No, applicants need not attempt the PGIMER BSc Nursing question paper in any specific order. There is no sectional time limit or restriction on following a set pattern to solve or attempt the questions. 

Yes, you can skip the question in PGIMER nursing exam. No marks will be deducted or given if the question is unanswered.

There will be 100 questions in the question paper. All the questions will be objective type questions.
