No, PGIMER Chandigarh doesn’t offer MBBS programme. But it offers other various programmes related to medical studies including MSc, BSc, MD and MS, covering major streams such as Medicine & Health Sciences, Science, Nursing. Courses are taught by experienced faculty members who are experts in Endocrinology, Sericulture etc. Candidates seeking admission to PGIMER courses are required to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria set by the college for their desired course.

All the applicants who wish to apply to any of the courses offered by PGI Chandigarh can register online and pay the fapplication ee. Following is the procedure for doing the same:

  1. Visit the official website of PGIMER and click on the online application form available on the PGIMER’s website
  2. Fill in all the details correctly
  3. Take a printout of the form and make the fee payment through the Challan form (Triplicate) in any branch of SBI by the name “Power Jyoti” PUL current account of PGIMER

The application fee for all the courses is INR 1,000 for the general category and for the SC/ST candidates it is Rs 800 (except for MD/MCh which is Rs 1000 for all the categories). PGIMER application process is completely online. All the applicants who wish to apply to any of the courses offered by PGI Chandigarh can register online and pay the fee.

PGIMER admission process is based on entrance score. To apply for admission, applicants must complete Class 12 with relevant aggregate scores for admission to UG courses. Applicants must also hold a valid score in the INICET examination for MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM. INICET is conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. Admission to MS/MD courses is conducted twice a year and the new session starts in January and July every year. For few courses, PGIMER accepts the admission based on PGIMER entrance test followed by counselling. the application process is completely online.

The salary of a paramedic depends on the job profile and respective individual skillset. These specialisations are - Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology, Radiotherapy Technology, Medical Technology (Perfusionist), Embalming and Mortuary Science, Medical Technology (Dialysis Therapy Technology), Medical Animation and Audio-Visual Creation and Nursing. The first six specialisations from the list helps students make a career as a paramedic.

The BSc in Nursing from PGI Chandigarh is one of the top Nursing courses of India.  During the PGI BSc in Nursing course, the students get to practically work in various different departments of nursing.

PGIMER Chandigarh admits students to its BSc courses based on their entrance examination scores. However, in order to be eligible for giving the entrance exam, there are certain eligibility requirements regarding the Class 12 marks.
