I think it's better to opt for NITW. NITW ECE has very good faculty and very good placements.

Hi,
As much as I know, Production Engineering is a part of Mechanical engineering. So, in my advice, go for Mechanical engineering, which has a vast and lifetime opportunity for jobs and career in future in India as well as in outside India.

Diploma is very good for technical knowledge but the salary you will get after completing the same will always be higher than Diploma.
Production engineering in COEP is a sandwich branch but you are compulsory do two internships of 6 months in different companies for completing your degree.

Manufacturing Systems Engineering is more often a graduate level course rather than an undergraduate course which focuses on production systems and practices, and their mathematica
