A PG diploma course from a recognized university or affiliated college can be done by only a graduate and since you are a diploma holder and not a degree holder,you are not eligible for any PG Diploma. It is advisable to do either a BE through lateral entry or any other graduation program

Production Engineering is a very great department and its out from the department of mechanical engineering that is why it’s fantastic.
It’s opportunities are great in India as well as abroad.
So, if you want to do it, then just do it from any good engineering college .

To change engineering stream, you have to maintain minimum 60% in 1st year of engineering without any backlogs and then you can change your branch to discuss with the administration.

Stream changing option will be open for all students after completion of 1 year of their academic session not after 1st semester.
So keep your grades good in college and maintain GPA of 9+.
