With an MA in Psychology, you can pursue certain counseling and psychological roles, but to become a licensed psychologist, most countries require additional qualifications. Typically, you'll need:

  • Further Training: A doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in psychology.
  • Supervised Experience: Completion of supervised clinical hours or internships
  • Licensing Exams: Passing national or regional licensing exams.

Note:- Licensing requirements vary by country or state, so it's important to check local regulations.

Yes, a clinical psychologist can conduct counseling sessions. Clinical psychologists are trained professionals who specialize in diagnosing and treating mental health issues, emotional disorders, and behavioral problems.

Alongside their expertise in psychotherapy and psychological assessments, they often provide counseling to help individuals manage stress, cope with life's challenges, and improve their overall mental well-being. While their work may include more complex psychological interventions, they are fully equipped to offer supportive counseling as part of their broader therapeutic approach.

People sometimes say Clinical Psychologist and psychologist like same, but they are little different. The main difference is what work they do and which part of psychology they focus on.
