The CUCAT syllabus for MSc Applied Psychology will mostly include the psychology syllabus of the undergraduate level. Yes you can pursue PG Diploma in Psychology after retirement from government service. This is because there is no maximum age limit to pursue this course. Make sure that you have completed graduation and have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks. You should also have completed the course from a recognised institute.

No you cannot pursue PG Diploma in Psychology course after class 12. You should have completed graduation to pursue this course. You can pursue a Diploma in Psychology course after Class 12.

Suggestion: You can pursue BA Psychology or BSc Psychology course after Class 12 followed by MA Psychology or MSc Psychology and PhD in Psychology courses if you wish to study Psychology courses. In this way you would be able to pursue a career in the field of Psychology

While a background in psychology can be helpfulbut it is not always required.

Many colleges offering educational psychology programs are might ask for educational backgrounds and Psychology as a subject in class 12.

However, having a basic understanding of psychological concepts can make it easier to grasp the course esaily. Some programs offer introductory courses or foundational modules to help students without a psychology background.
