To become an Assistant Professor first you have to qualify the UGC NET Exam. NTA conducts the UGC NET twice in a year in the month of June and December, for all the non-Science students. The exam is catered for more than 80 subjects. As per your qualifications you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET Psychology subject 04. UGC NET gives opportunity to the eligible candidates to become Assistant Professor and JRF (Junior Research Fellowship). Criteria to get admission in DU, you should have more than 50% in your 10+2 admission should be based on merit basis.

BA Psychology or Bachelor of Arts in Psychology is a 3-year undergraduate course which is offered by many colleges and universities in India. The basic eligibility for pursuing this course is 10+2 qualification. The student should have qualified senior secondary with a minimum of at least 50% marks.
