Candidates interested to pursue Applied Psychology should be a graduate in any discipline with 45% marks. 5% relaxation for SC/ST students. However, candidates should refer the SHiksha's page or the official website of the exam to know more about PUCAT exam.

Yes, a BA in Psychology is offered by ICRI - Jagannath University, Delhi. The course is divided into semester patterns. For admission in this UG course, the aspirant should have passed Class 12 from a recognised university. Candidates shortlisted based on merit in the HSC exam have to further go through an interview round for selection. Aspirants who meet the eligibility requirements can apply by completing the ICRI application procedure.

To pursue BA (Psychology, Mass Communication & Journalism, Sociology) through PUCAT, candidates should have Higher Secondary Certificate (10+2) with a minimum aggregate score of 40% for UR/OBC and 33% for SC/ST. In order to know more about the PUCAT 2024 exam, candidates can refer the Shiksha's page or the official website of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Jaunpur, the exam conducting body.

No, not necessarily. There is a common entrance exam for admission to Christ University which does not calls for any stream-oriented subjects. It is then followed by an interview. Thus, people opting B.Sc Psychology at Christ University does not take the entrance exam with Science subject.

At ICRI Mumbai, BA in Pscychology is offered for three years across six semesters. Each semester covers the core topics related to psychology. It provides  a basic understanding related to study of Human behavior. The subjects covered in BA Psychology's first semester at ICRI Mumbai are:

The choice of entrance exam is direcly dependent upon your choice of college to pursue Master in Psychology from. Here are some of the recommended exams for the Master’s Degree in Psychology:

  • Central University Entrance Test (CUET PG) and (CUET)
  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISS-NET)
  • Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

These tests are often accepted by most universities that offer Psychology Master’s Degree programs and thus they may be suitable for your academic background as well as what you plan to achieve career wise in Psychology.

Yes, definitely. You can choose psychology for CUET despite having PCB and psychology in class 11th and 12th. The eligibility criteria for B.Sc is to have passed class 12th with a minimum aggregate from a recognised university. It may or may not calls for an entrance exam. 

Thus, if you are interested in pursuing B.Sc Psychology, go get ahead with it. All the best!

Awadhesh Pratap Singh University (APSU) offers BA in Psychology and Sociology as a Honors course via the Department of Psychology. BA in Psychology (Hons) lasts for four years and is spread across eight semesters. Candidates must have twelve years of school education for admission. Admission to the BA programme is merit based and is offered in a Self Supporting mode. The APSU BA psychology seat intake is 30. And the fee range from INR 24,000 - INR 75,000.

230 is not good enough for taking admission at Jesus and Mary College, as the cutoff for B.A. Psychology last year in 2023 was 739.2. It is 3 times more than 230.
