Established in 1994, Keshav Mahavidyalaya is one of the youngest constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. The College has been accredited Grade ‘A’ by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC). Keshav Mahavidyalaya ranked 77 by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2020. It offers nine courses across five streams namely, Science, Commerce, Management Studies, Psychology and Computer Science. The college also offers short-term courses in French and German Languages. Keshav Mahavidyalaya has around 1800 students studying under the supervision of over 100 faculty members.

Keshav Mahavidyalaya admission 2021 to all the UG courses is based on the merit of Class 12, except for BMS. For BMS admission to Keshav Mahavidyalaya, candidates need to appear for DU-JAT 2021. How will Class 12 results be calculated 2021-22 onwards?

Going forward, Class 12 pattern will be divided into two parts: Term 1 and Term 2

  • Term 1 (50% syllabus):The exams will be held in Nov-Dec and are going to be MCQ-based. These MCQs will be based on case, assertion and reasoning, and the exam duration will be of 90 minutes. Term 1 exams will be conducted in the school with externals to be invigilators as appointed by the board. Class 12 Term 1 marks will be added to the final result.
  • Term 2 (50% syllabus): Term-2 exams will be conducted in Mar-Apr. Questions asked in Term 2 will be in different formats and will be: Case-based Ended, Short/Long Answers & Situation-based. The duration of the exam will be 120 minutes. Class 12 Term-2 exams will be conducted in the respective exam centres.

University of Delhi released the fourth spot admission list, which is the 7th admission list released for admissions based on DU JAT on December 16. Meanwhile,Keshav Mahavidyalaya 3rd Special Drive cutoff 2021 was released on December 3. The 3rd Special Cut off was only applicable to reserved category candidates including OBC, SC, ST, PwD, EWS and Kashmiri Migrants. Before this, Delhi University had announced a cut off under 2nd Special Drive on November 24. Under the third special drive, candidates could apply for admission between December 4 and December 5. Overall, it is the best college for me.

Placements: Approximately 35% of the total students in our batch got placed. The average salary package offered was 2.25 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was about 1.6 LPA. The highest package offered was 4.60 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Ernst & Young (EY), KPMG India, KPMG Global Services, D.E. Worth it, very good infrastructure and faculty, one of the top off campus college.

Placements: To be honest, my college is not that much famous for placement purpose but I've seen my seniors being placed around package of 4-5 Lacs. One thing common among the students who get high package was good communication skills. Also there is a placement cell in our college for placement purpose which guides us for internship and placements.

Placements: I am doing the B.Com course, and I am in the 3rd year. The minimum salary package offered in the commerce department is 6 LPA, and the maximum salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. Well I can't tell much about other colleges but my Keshav mahavidyalaya College is one of the best in this regard. Be it Infra or Faculty it's one of the best. In terms of Multidisciplinary courses our college got the best rating.
