PEC Chandigarh is a Grant-in-Aid institution under the administration of the Union Territory of Chandigarh, Government of India. PEC was established in 1921. Moreover, the institute became Deemed University in 2003 through an MHRD notification and was rechristened as PEC University of Technology in 2009. The institute is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

Yes, B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering is offered by PEC University of Technology. And it is also one of the finest branchs of PEC. One can easily get electrical engineering in PEC if he /she scored between 97 percentile and above in JEE mains examination.

The fee for B.Tech in electrical and electronics engineering at PEC is somewhere around 90k to 100k rupees per semester hostel excluded. If one also wants a hostel, then the hotel fees is something around 70k per year. Also, fees for all B.Tech branches are the same in PEC.

One can not commit about how much marks one should get to opt electrical engineering in PEC. But if you get percentile around 97 and above in JEE you can easily get electrical engineering in PEC but it also varies year to year. So try to get 98 percentile you can surely get electrical engineering in PEC.
