Dear Shivdeep,
Gulzar Group of Institutions will be the best for pursuing because it has a great exposure in automation and robotics as they are running the course since their inception and their students have gathered many patents in the same context.
Also to update you that Gulzar Group of Institutions is the first college that started automation and robotics in their curriculum in North India. It is affiliated to Punjab Technical University and is AICTE approved. You can contact them through www.ggi.ac.in.

Hello Shivdeep,
Robotics Engineering is a niche branch in India with limited opportunities at present. However, Mechanical Engineering is a far more generic branch with ample job opportunities. Therefore, I would suggest you to pursue B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and if you wish, you can pursue M.Tech in Robotics Engineering. In this way, you can learn both the courses and also create enough opportunity for yourself.
I hope this answers your question to your satisfaction. If so, kindly upvote this answer. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.

Hi,
Yes, you may go for robotics but considering the current situation or even after three years it's hard to say whether India has a good opportunity for robotics or not.

Hello,
Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of science that includes a combination of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering.[1][2] As technology advances, the subfields of engineering multiply and adapt. Mechatronics' aim is a design process that unifies these sub-fields. Originally, mechatronics just included the combination of mechanics and electronics, hence the word is a combination of mechanics and electronics; however, as technical systems have become more and more complex the definition has been broadened to include more technica
