As per the official notification, the RRB Group D Probation period is 2 years for the candidates who are selected for this post. Candidates will have to take the training for 2 years and then will be able to start their job as an RRB Group D Officer. Negative marking is applicable, with a deduction of 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer. Candidates receive one mark for each correct answer.

RRB Group D notification is released to select eligible candidates for various Level 1 posts in Indian Railways such as Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Mechanical and S&T departments), Pointsman, etc. The RRB Group D exam helps Railways hire for Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, and Pointsman positions. English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. In case of any difference/ discrepancy/dispute in the Questions between English and the opted language, the content of English version shall prevail.
