The applicants are selected based on their profiles. They must also meet the qualifying scores in at least one of the entrance exams. The profiles are evaluated, and the applicants are sorted into two groups: Profile-based and Profile-cum-Score-based. Below is the selection parameters for PGDM:

The total tuition fee for SP Jain PGDM is 24.86 lakh. The tuition fee for PGDM in BM is INR 22.50 lakh. Students can pay the programme fee after completion of the selection rounds to confirm their seat in the institute. Candidates also need to pay an application fee of 2,000 to register for PGDM/ PGPM courses.

PGDM is the flagship programme of SPJIMR. SPJIMR has been ranked at 74 globally in Financial Times Global MBA 2026 rankings for it PGPM course for experienced professionals. Candidates can pursue PGDM General or in Business Management. Talking about placements, the the highest and average domestic package offered during SPJIMR PGDM placements 2026 stood at INR 75 LPA and INR 33.60 LPA, respectively. 

Technology emerged as the dominant hiring sector, accounting for 42% of placements. Financial services and manufacturing followed at 16% each, with consulting at 13%.

The faculty at SPJIMR are experienced. SPJIMR faculty are degree and Diploma holders. The faculty themselves are IIM graduates. One of the SPJIMR faculty, namely Ajinkya Navare holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. There are similar faculty available in the college holding very high qualification. 

CAT is an important entrance exam for admission to SPJIMR but it is not the only exam accepted by the college. The college accepts other entrance exam such as XAT, NMAT, MAT, and others. If applying through XAT, prepare according to the XAT Exam Pattern. Practice as many XAT question papers as possible. Give as many XAT,0 mock tests as possible for a successful admission.
