Well, yes it is true that the job preference is given to those with a graduate degree but then to pursue SAP module, there is no set eligibility criteria, yet it is always preferred that one should be a graduate degree holder (minimum requirement for better understanding) and having a work experience would also be an added benefit in terms of effective implementation.
As you have mentioned that you already have experience in the SAP SD (as front end user), making it an added point of benefit for you to opt for its study module. The job prospects are bright and are even growing in India and the World for the SAP professionals.

SAP (SD) will help to improve your employability. It will be good if you do SAP (SD) certification from SAP authorized training partner. Chances to get a job abroad without SAP experience are very less. There is still a good market for good and experienced SAP functional consultants.

SAP is still the largest selling and world leader in ERP. Indian Businesses Medium and Large enterprises are implementing SAP and small enterprises moving to cloud based SAP. Therefore, I am of the opinion that SAO functional specialists have bright future both in business enterprises and IT ERP consulting firms.
