Yes, those taking the Digital SAT exam can use the in-built calculator on the Bluebook App for all Math questions on both the sections of SAT Math. Applicants can also carry a physical calculator in case they feel the need. This feature is only available for Digital SAT format, the previously tested SAT exam (on pen-paper) had one Math module where calculator use was applicable and not for the other one. But on Digital SAT Math section, calculator is allowed for all questions tested on that section. Thus, this is an added advantage for students.

- There are two pretest questions on each module (that is four modules - two per section RW & Math) that are tested and are UNSCORED.
- While there are 25 operational questions each in both modules of SAT's RW section, and 20 operational questions each on both the modules of SAT's Math section which are SCORED

On the SAT 2024 pattern, negative marking does not exist. Students are not penalised for giving erroneous answers, just like in earlier iterations of the test. Since guessing will not result in a deduction of scores, it is imperative that students attempt all of the questions, even if they are not confident of the answer. The SAT is a timed test, so time management is still crucial, and guessing without justification may affect accuracy and time management. Yes, SAT Digital is an adaptive test. There are various benefits of SAT Digital as well - SAT exam duration has reduced, there is no need to carry a calculator because it is available on the Bluebook App, calculators can be used for all maths questions, the SAT syllabus has clubbed two sections into one i.e. reading and writing and the most important part is that the exam has gone digital from pencil-paper test.

The digital SAT now features two main sections: Reading and Writing (RW) and Mathematics, each scored from 200 to 800. The exam has transitioned to a digital format, incorporating multiple-choice questions alongside some math problems that require written answers.The digital SAT is composed of two sections: Reading and Writing and Math. Students have 64 minutes to complete the Reading and Writing section and 70 minutes to complete the Math section for a total of 2 hours and 14 minutes.

No, subject tests are no longer functional hence, there are no subject-related tests on SAT anymore. But yes, there are subject specific sections like English and Mathematics which are tested on the SAT exam. The SAT exam pattern doesn't directly have Science subject topics, but its tested in the reading and writing section of the SAT.

The SAT Digital exam is designed in a very planned manner, and it consists of the following features or international students:
- The SAT Digital exam is one hour less in duration than the older one, and students are allowed to carry their laptops or iPads to take the SAT Digital exam at the test centre.
- International students, taking the test from outside the US appeared for the first Digital SAT Exam in March 2023. The US-based students would be able to take the SAT Digital Exam from 2024 onwards.
