For undergraduate admission, Humboldt University of Berlin Does not require submission of Act or SAT marks are necessity. You have to provide a German University Entrance Qualification which can be obtained through the German Arbiture or equivalent qualification. But the university also looks into other factors for admissions like strong academic background, English language proficiency requirements, LORs, personal essays extracurricular activities etc.

There is a test-optional policy at George Mason University, meaning students can apply to this university without a SAT or ACT score.  Under this policy, international students can choose whether to submit the scores or not.

Although by submitting these scores, one can significantly raise their chances of getting selected at this university. A holistic review of the GMU application is conducted to review any application.

The University of Oklahoma is a test optional university. This means that the university does not mandatorily require submission of standardized test scores for undergraduate admission such as ACT and SAT. It rather focuses on other factors such as meeting teh academic requirements, GPA, english language requirements and submission of necessarydocuments. However, theses tests csores can be submitted, and will be considered, enhancing the profile of teh applicant. These tests scores also have submission deadlines, hence applicants must follow the deadlines more carefully.

Undergraduate SOPs need not mention about your scores in examinations, as your academic transcripts will also be added in your UG application documents. However, if you have achieved very good scores or want the Ad Com to know about your academic growth or expertise on a particular subject, you may add the scores. Certain universities may also want to mention your scores to gauge your language proficiency, which you can include in the SOP.

Low SAT or ACT scores (if compulsorily required by a university) might not get compensated by a statement of purpose. However, if you write a compelling SOP of undergraduate courses, your drive, motivation, and accomplishments will be highlighted and you will greatly improve your chances of getting selected in your desired UG score. Extracurricular activities and admissions essays will help you offset a low SAT/ACT score. You must concentrate on developing a complete application that adheres to the precise requirements and instructions given by the university.

No. The University of California, Santa Barbara does not select candidates based on the ACT or SAT scores, even if submitted. The university prioritizes several other things, such as rigor of secondary school record, academic GPA, application essay, and more. To improve their selection chances, students must focus on their academics and aim to score a high GPA along with fulfilling the basic eligibility.
