Applicants will have to share the device name upon SAT registration. The applicants are allowed to use the following devices for their Digital SAT exam:

  • Windows laptop
  • Mac laptop
  • Windows tablet (with external keyboard), or any other tablet
  • iPad
  • Chromebook (managed by school)

Applicants who do not have these devices, can request for one when completing SAT registration process.

Yes, applicants can re-register for SAT using the same credentials if they wish to retake the exam. The applicants just have to select a new date, centre and finish their registration by paying the fee. This way they will not have to submit the same information again.

There is no requirement for a passport copy when registering for SAT exam. Applicants only need to fill in their details - academic, coursework and personal. This is followed by optional photo uploading (can be uploaded later on also), and paying for the exam. The passport will be required at the test centre for identification.

The average cost of taking the SAT in India is about $68, with an extra $43 for foreign enrolment, for a total of about $111. Depending on any modifications made by the College Board, this sum could alter. This expense typically ranges from 9,000 to 9,500 in Indian Rupees, depending on the exchange rate in effect at the time of payment. Services like late registration, changing the test location, or providing more score reports to colleges could incur additional costs.

Want to cancel your SAT exam and don't plan to take it? Candidates should note that no matter how early you cancel your SATs, you will not be entitled to a full refund. Candidates who have registered for the SAT exam and are required to cancel the same would be eligible for a $10 refund if the candidate cancels the test 5 days in advance. So plan accordingly to avoid any additional charges.
