You should start preparing for SAT 3-4 months before your actual SAT exam date. This time is suggested so that you can cover SAT exam syllabus and also take practice tests. There may be few who would require more prep time. In this case they should plan their schedules as per their exam dates. SAT preparation months will give applicants understanding of exam, how it is structured and how to attempt it as well.

SAT Preparation in a month may be possible for some but may not be for others. The previous knowledge if appropriate then its possible. If the student has a strong background in any of the two sections of SAT or in both sections of SAT, they can easily prepare for SAT in a month because they just have to brush up their skills. While others with zero knowledge will not be able to do so.

No, there is no common answer on SAT. Each answer choice whether A, B, C, or D are evenly distributed, so, guessing a particular choice (e.g. option B) for most questions will not be the right approach. Even while preparing for SAT exam, students may have come across a couple of questions which may have a common option as answer but this rule may not apply at all times, especially for the main exam day.

Yes, submitting a valid ACT or SAT score will now become mandatory from the 2027-28 session. Students interested in Fall 2028 admissions, will have to submit either of the two scores. It was stopped during the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the university has now decided to introduce this policy again.

The university, in its recent findings, discovered that students who did submit SAT or ACT scores, did much better in their studies on campus, than those who didn't.

Princeton does not have a minimum requirement for SAT. However, a score in the range of 1500-1580 should be enough, per an unofficial source. It also considers academics, curiosity, and leadership potential of a student.

Other requirements include LORs, SOPs, Essays and transcripts of past education.  Students have to submit their applications in advance to allow enough time for processing of documents.

The best date to take SAT is either in junior year or somewhere around spring intake. Planning exam around these dates in March, May and June has many benefits. If you don't score as per your requirement you can re-appear whenever you like.

There are no restrictions on taking SAT after graduating from any type of institution. There is also no age bar for students as to when are they taking SAT. If you are interested, consider applying well in time before the actual registration date. Even if you come with accommodations, you will have to prove your disabilities. You will still be eligible to take SAT.
