SAT is accepted by the New York Film Academy for admission to its undergraduate programs, however, it is not a mandatory requirement. Good marks in standardized tests scores such as SAT and ACT can help boost a student's application, and make a positive impression in the minds of those at the NYFA Admissions department.

ACT or SAT test scores are required for all undergraduate courses including Medicine & Health Sciences Courses at Stanford University. The university reviews the application using either self-reported or official scores.

If the students like to send their official scores, they need to use some codes such as:

  • SAT PROFILE/TOEFL Code number: 4704

  • ACT Code number: 0434

The test scores will be considered official by the university only when they must be sent directly from the ACT or the College Board.

Undergraduate SOPs need not mention about your scores in examinations, as your academic transcripts will also be added in your UG application documents. However, if you have achieved very good scores or want the Ad Com to know about your academic growth or expertise on a particular subject, you may add the scores. Certain universities may also want to mention your scores to gauge your language proficiency, which you can include in the SOP.

University of Tasmania has country specific criteria for admission in undergraduate programs. SAT is not considered mandatory for international students. However, an applicant might choose to submit their SAT score, as a strong SAT score might help them to enhance their profile and might increase their chances of acceptance. Additionally, Applicants should also focus on other criteria as well like a minimum admission requirement of having a high school Diploma and English proficiency test scores, along with the submission of mandatory documents required by their programme of choice, during the application process.

Yes, even if students have not studied in an English-medium school, they can still take the SAT exam. The SAT exam can be taken if it is mandatory for submission as a standardised test score. In case, the universities do not require it, taking SAT exam can be skipped.
