Although it is not compulsory to have studied Mathematics as a subject in Class 11-12 level to apply for a BSc in Biotechnology course, students should have pursued the Science stream and studied Biology as a core subject.
The minimum eligibility requirement for BSc Biotechnology is to pass Class 10 and 12 with Physics, Biology, and Chemistry as core subjects, with min 50% overall (45% for SC/ST candidates), and 60% in each core subject.
As it is a BSc course, unlike BTech students who have done PCM or PCB in Class 12 are eligible for admission.

Hence, NFSU might consider alternative forms of entrance assessment for international students, especially those whose final exams coincide with the NFAT.
