SEED Exam is conducted online for B.Des and M.Des programme, so you cannot carry question paper after the exam. Candidates can download the previous year's question paper from the official website of the Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID).

A key feature of sample papers is that they contain questions that are similar to the ones that are asked in the entrance exam. For instance, they are of almost the same difficulty level and cover the official syllabus. Consequently, solving SEED question papers will help the candidates understand the exam pattern and know the types of questions asked. It will also help them know question-wise weightage of topicsm, and learn the tricks to solve them.

The Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will conduct the Portfolio Review and Personal Interaction (PRPI) in TWO rounds. 1st round will be held in the last week of March 2026.
The PRPI will be held online. On the day of the exam, the candidate will have to log in to the portal using the relevant link. Note that the candidate have to log-in using their candidate credentials to take the PRPI.
Note that during the personal interaction, the candidate may be asked to make a sketch. So, come prepared.

The candidate will have to upload their portfolio and PRPI task starting tentatively in the 2nd week of April 2024. The link to upload the portfolio and PRPI task will be activated soon after the slot booking process is over.
The slot booking for the PRPI will be held sometime in the last week of January 2024.
When uploading the portfolio, the candidate needs to ensure that they are uploading their bests works. Also, one needs to follow the size and format specifications when uploading the documents.
