Hi,
I may be the best person to answer this question as I have been through the NIFT interview. It was not that interesting as I expected but, was really entertaining.
It started with:
1) Tell your educational background
2) Why did you decide to switch from (your field) to fashion?
3) How are you going to align your previous education with fashion industry?
4) How pursuing Master from NIFT will boost your career?
6) What line of career would you choose after the completion of the course? I was well prepared for all the above questions so answered quickly with confidence. Then suddenly interviewer asked, Do you watch movies? I said yes,

If you have good communication skills and love to interact with different people, public relations is a great career option. In order to pursue a career in public relations, you can either pursue a Bachelor's or Master's degree in mass communication, or you can take up a specialised Diploma course in public relations and Corporate Communication. The syllabus of the PR course is quite comprehensive and can not be pursued through distance learning mode. One needs to develop certain skill-set to be a successful PR professional that can not be earned through correspondence. Hence, I would not suggest you to pursue a course in Public Relati

NID is known as one of the best colleges to pursue design. Relying totally on coaching centers to crack NID entrance exam will not be a wise decision.
Being creative is the key to crack NID entrance exam, and for that, you don't have to rely on coaching classes. I would suggest that instead of paying high fees to the coaching centres, you must go on a tour or travel around. If not that, just observe the things around you. Go for a walk every morning and observe the details and designs of the things around. Wherever you go, try to observe and see the things from your perspective. Try to analyse the things and think about them.
Still, I

Hi,
As you know there are two levels to crack NIFT i.e. aptitude test and situation test. Situation test is totally based on your presence of mind and creative skills.
It's very important to crack situation test to get into NIFT. Definitely, it's a game changer but you can not ignore aptitude test as its 1st step and it has 60% weightage on your overall marks.
To get a seat of your desired course and centre, it's very important to perform well in both the exams. Otherwise, it becomes difficult to get the department of your choice.
All the best to all the aspirants. I hope my answer will help you!
Best wishes!
