In government organisations, they never hire directly. They hire from contractors and other companies. Contractors appoint their employees to government organisations. Many times government organisations takes their contractors and employees for their work on a fixed salary. Government. organisations hire IT engineer on based on their technical degree. They hire IT post employees on the basis of exam but they must have technical degree like B.Tech or BE, or BCA and MCA.

First you need to get an affiliated graduation degree or a certification (Diploma) for becoming an event planner from a highly committed company. For becoming an event planner you need to pursue event management course too. Salary package is solely depends on the caliber and the recognition of you and the company. Starting salary would be from 28k to 30k but as you gain experience it will increase gradually with excellent pay and travel packages for sure.
